Spanish organisation the ENT Foundation has become a new Sea At Risk member. The group’s work largely focuses on research interests related to environmental affairs, development and international cooperation.

ENT Foundation was founded in 2010 and has a strong track record working on issues related to the marine environment, particularly on sustainaible fishing.

The Foundation largely works with other research centers, public administration and NGOs and is based in Vilanova, North East Spain.

One of the core reasons for ENT joining Seas At Risk was to collaborate further with other European NGOs on the issue of marine environmental protection including fisheries policies and marine waste management.

ENT were welcomed at Seas At Risk’s annual general assembly meeting that was held in June this year along with Slovenian member organisation Eco Vitae. Seas At Risk now has 18 members from countries spread across Europe.
