Joint call to the Commission to not backtrack on the work on food systems

Seas At Risk and more than 100 organisations and academics condemn the omission of the Sustainable Food Systems Framework from the 2024 work programme and call on the European Commission and President Ursula von der Leyen to deliver on sustainable food commitments this term. The signatories of the letter acknowledge the framework’s necessity in bringing affordable, healthy and sustainable food to Europeans’ plates.
