With over 30 members spread all over Europe, Seas At Risk is the largest marine umbrella organisation in Europe. Seas At Risk offers two different membership categories: full membership and associate membership.
- Full members are national or international non-governmental organisations that benefit from the complete Seas At Risk membership package. This includes the right to vote, full access to all policy information, participation in workshops and working groups, and reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs related to participation in Seas At Risk’s events. Full members pay a membership fee based on their annual budget.
- Associate members are national or international non-governmental organisations that benefit from some of the privileges of the Seas At Risk membership package, including participation in workshops and working groups, and access to policy information as appropriate. Associate members can be invited to participate in Seas At Risk’s annual and extraordinary assemblies but they are not entitled to vote. Associate members pay a reduced membership fee.
