Seas At Risk, together with its North Sea Alliance partners Deutsche Umwelthilfe, the North Sea Foundation, WWF Belgium, WWF Denmark, WWF EU and WWF Germany, published a joint position paper on non-price criteria (NPCs) in offshore wind tenders. The paper calls on North Sea governments to introduce environmental and sustainability NPCs, ensuring their coherence with EU and international environmental legislation. It also calls on them to harmonise NPCs across the North Sea, reward measurable environmental outcomes and ensure effective implementation through adequate monitoring and enforcement mechanisms.
