Helen is a communications and advocacy leader with 18 years’ experience shaping policy and public affairs in Brussels. As Advocacy Director at Seas At Risk, she leads a team of policy and communications experts working to strengthen EU action for ocean protection and climate resilience. Her background spans the European institutions and civil society, including roles with the Vice-President of the European Parliament for Democracy and Human Rights and Social Platform, the EU network of social NGOs. She believes in the power of storytelling, coalition-building and strategic advocacy to drive systemic change.
