This joint-NGO media briefing unraveled the obscure process of setting fishing limits between the EU, UK, Norway and other coastal states in the Northeast Atlantic for 2022. After years of setting fishing limits higher than scientific advice, EU, Norwegian and UK fisheries ministers must pull out all stops to halt the drastic decline in fish populations and ocean health if they are to deliver on promises made at home and internationally to end overfishing, and to halt the biodiversity and climate crises.
