Seas At Risk is  urging members of European Parliament to step up in the fight against microplastic pollution, by voting to adopt the regulation on plastic pellets. By adopting strong and binding rules across the supply chain to prevent pellet loss — from plastic producers and transporters, to recycling plants to handlers — we can protect both human and environmental health from harmful microplastic pollution.

How can you help?

Using our guide, we challenge you to go out and find these tiny plastic pellets in your neighbourhoods. You’d be surprised how easy they are to spot once you know where and what you are looking for!

Take a photo and post it online before the 23rd of April using #GreatGlobalNurdleHunt. Don’t forget to tell us where you are (city + country) and tag us!

Join fellow pellet hunters and log your findings in the Great Nurdle Map.

The guide is available in EnglishFrench, Spanish, Italian, German and Portuguese.
