Ahead of the European Parliament elections in June 2024, Brussels-based marine NGOs launched the “Ocean of Change: a joint Manifesto for the 2024 European Elections” to inspire EU political parties and boost their ambition in the face of the triple climate, biodiversity and pollution crises. The NGOs engaged in the publication of this manifesto are: BirdLife Europe & Central Asia, ClientEarth, Oceana, Seas At Risk, Surfrider Foundation Europe and the WWF European Policy Office.
